We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to show off some neat stuff!
First, my brother in law 3D printed these lovey tanks and Willy’s Jeep. He painted them himself! I had to show them off. The kid is so talented it turns me green with envy sometimes!
Next up, my local game store has had these sitting on a shelf for almost 3 years now. I couldn’t resist their ugly, oversized heads any longer. After all, they survived the pandemic and still no one has bought them; I guess no one realizes that they are Grenadier Bugbears from 1980! Pretty sure the paint is vintage, as well. I’m very excited for them to join the conflicts in my games—I think they’ll work with various scales too.
Finally, on the painting tray today are my old faithful ruined walls, the very same that have found their way into nearly every game on this blog. I’ll be dry brushing a lighter stone color then dappling some dirt color here and there. With them is a figure my brother-in-law 3D printed: he was intended to be an orc, but a power outage cut him short…a whole head short, to be exact! So I’m painting him up to be a ruined statue, maybe even an animated guardian of an ancient temple.
The 3D printed vehicles are excellent and I do like the bugbears. I am so pleased you gave them a home, they have been patient and deserve it. I look forward to seeing them in action.
ReplyDeleteWalls are well worth working upon and will continue to give great service.
