I used some old Imperial guard models I have, along with some bits, to make some traitor/renegade guardsmen. This guy is the pinnacle. I only have the photo of his undercoating stage, and I think it looks like a heavy metal album from the 80’s. I dolled the pic up to send to my buddy who doesn’t paint minis or play any tabletop games.
I also painted up these wonderful Reaper metal skeletons. I tried to theme the paint scheme after Disney’s animated rendition of the Black Cauldron. I’ve been watching a lot of Summon Lesser Maker on YouTube as well, and he used a turquoise undercoat on an undead knight that looked amazing. After trying it on these I am sold!
I don't know the base for the traitor guardsman, but I do recognize the plastic Catachan arms! One of my favorite kits back in the day.
