Well, it’s more of a tray…but…here’s why I haven’t been posting as much this week! I also started an Instagram @brush.and.battle to post snippets and some WIP shots. And also to enter the Octogre painting competition! It’s been a blast, and you may spot my entry in the photos below.
I’ve now completed seven buildings for this 15mm Mordheim kick I’ve been on! I’m going to use them for my battle games too, when they’re held on a larger surface. Below are some shots of the finished buildings!
Each piece is intended to have at least one point of access to give elevation or alternative pathways.
The building on the left offers cover and has a window to shoot from.
The plank ramp on the left building is a separate accessory to be used as a bridge, makeshift cover, etc.
Finally, my watchtower! I still have a few cosmetic things to do, like cut arrow slits out and attach a heraldic device to the side not pictured here. This piece was mainly a tester of some ideas and is more of a prototype.
I’ve purchased materials to build a Noble’s manor house with a small castellated tower, but that project is on hold while I build a town square terrain piece and devise a general layout of how I want the nobleman’s house to look.
Looks fantastic!
