Retribution for the Rebel Scum

An undocumented game a couple of weeks ago saw Sir Reginald II quelling a peasant rebellion in the town of Sylvanburrough. Finally, the remaining rebels have been cornered; and Reginald II is moving in to finish them off. The rules used were an adaptation of Chitson’s Chivalry.

Reggie II and his men are on square bases (other than the lone axeman in his ranks), while the rebels are on pennies. Fitting, that the peasants have pennies.

The loyalists move in, and the rebels respond. There are no casualties in the first few turns.

The rebels are pushed back across the river. Only the dug in archers and the sergeant remain, but fording a river is never easy, especially in Chitson’s Chivalry.

It’s a slog, but Reginald’s forces ferret out the remaining rebels.

Sir Reginald II finally quiets down his realm. Between civil unrest and the threat of lizard-folk, he’s beginning to rue his inheritance (and considering his father lucky to have been blasted by dragon-fire).

  1. Poor Sir Reginald he has a tough time. I do hope things settle down for him a little.
I do like the peasants on pennies, most appropriate indeed.
